I'm wondering if i could use a visa prepaid gift card to pay for a World of Warcraft subscription because my mom doesn't want to drive to target/walmart/bestbuy/etc. because she doesn't want to use gas. I have a riteaid near my house that sells those visa prepaid gift cards so i could just walk to it.

its a prepaid visa gift card (its like a credit card. you can use it to pay for like anything).

You can use prepaid visa cards to pay your subscription. You will want to make sure there is at least one extra dollar on it though. If you pay for one month at a time ($14.99) you will want to make sure that you have at least $16 on the card as Blizzard does a $1 pre-authorization charge.
