Can I trade in my Best buy and Target gift cards for money?

I got a Best Buy and Target gift card for Christmas yesterday but I would rather put that money towards somewhere else. Can I go to these stores and trade their gift cards back for real money?

You can sell them on eBay.

   I don’t think you can. Try to find a friend that might shop at those stores and maybe they will give you the money.

   No they won’t let you. But here’s a trick, if they sell gift cards like visa cards where you can use every where and any where like a regular credit card, just use your store gift card to buy that visa gift card. The only thing is you gotta make sure there is enough money on the store gift card to get the visa gift card b/c some of them can be $50 or less.

   You can’t return gift cards to a store. You can trade or sell them on a website like plasticjungle.com though.
